How would you solve poverty

If you had the power to (not super powers) and support to come with a solution for poverty around the world. Btw we can't get rid of it completely, but what would be the best thing we can do?

I want to hear your ideas.

I'll share my ideas later, I want to see if I can relate them to yours first.

Just conserve my resources and stuff.

Solving poverty is impossible, especially in capitalistim. A lot of people are just stupid with their spending habits.

Communism is the only way. But it literally requires jesus to be the communist leader though, unless we can find an uncorruptable politician but where would we get one of those? :)

I was just kidding,i think the only way to solve poverty,is to destroy any form of currency.

Dollar,dinar,yen,euro,pound,etc.etc.

Just stop all of that and we will be equal.

Of course,the rich and powerful will never let this happen,not to mention that you would have to give up on manny luxiries.

You can't solve poverty. Handouts don't work, and as the saying goes -- you can lead a horse to water but you can't force it to drink.

You aslo need to define poor. There are many cultures (tribes) that don't even have a currency, but they get along fine. Look at the Bushmen in Africa or the Amazon tribes (some of which have never metanyone outside their own people -- there was a news story about one of these tribe shaking a spear at an airplane a year or so ago).

That's not true -- the leaders would be rich. The majority would be poor. Why not give everybody a change to get rich?psychobrew

Everyone getting a chance to be reach will result in poverty, no one must get a chance to be rich and everyone must be paid the same, obviously those with hazardous or high tier jobs get a little more but not enough to make them *rich* compared to the rest of people.

This is why I mentioned uncorruptable politicians either way I doubt everything was priced around the lowest income bracket so there are going to be poor people.

Have a tax imposed on rich alone. This revenue generated should be used to employ, educate and help poor.
