Do you pronounce it as "an-tee" or "an-tie"? How other words such as "multiplayer".

I prefer to pronounce as "an-tee".

It depends if what I'm saying that includes "anti-" is spoken fast or slow.

I don't have one set way of pronouncing it. Depends on how the overall pronunciation of the word sounds determines which one I'll choose.

I have it on good authority that the correct pronounciation is an-tie although most people say an-tee.

I don't really use anti too much. In a word like antithesis, I pronounce it in the way you would prounce the i in ick.

For antimatter, I'd say antIYEmatter( although antii doesn't really sound wrong to me.

I pronounce it "an-tee" probably influenced by how the original prefix is pronounced in Greek.

And also pronounce multi- as "mul-tee".

DivergeUnify

I'd pronounce both with the same 'i' sound (as in 'ick').
