Try to name as many countries as you can in 15 minutes. I got 81/196, however I also took a Europe-only one and scored 41/47.

I can name every state and every first world country, but that's where it gets iffy. I only know about 1/3 (approximation) of the rest of the world's countries. I'd miss well over half of Africa. I'd only get about half of the Latin American countries right despite knowing the names of all of them. I'd definitely mess up central Asia where all of the Russian confederation states are. I know most of Europe and Asia other than that. I wonder if I would be average in that? I see most of you know a lot more. Maybe I should take the test, but I fear from looking unknowledgeable about the smaller countries.
I got 98 out of 196, although there were countries I couldn't spell. Like Liechtenstein, now I know cause I read it. :?
I got 51/196. Not bad at all for me. I probably could've gotten at least 60 if I didn't forget some countries.
You got 90 out of 196 answers correct I made some stupid mistakes though like missing Belgium, the Netherlands and Lithuania... 41 out of 47 on the European one...markop2003
I got 91..ha.
I can't believe that I forgot Kuwait, UAE, and Kenya.
108. Not too bad, but missed some obvious ones though (Denmark, the Congos, Kenya, Jamaica, Romania), I was overall aware of a vast majority of them though, just hard to take it from the memory
And why did it not accept Greenland as an answer?Gorillanator
Greenland is governed by Denmark.
That's nice..but on every world map I have ever seen the country is called Greenland with Denmark in parenthesis.
Damn I feel stupid: I only got 104. I only knew 10 counties in Africa >_>zeldaluff
YOU feel stupid? Going by everyone else's scores, I feel mentally retarded.
lol The reason I say that is because I have a huge world map hanging in my room. You would think with so much exposure to the countries of the world I would at least get the majority of them.lol The reason I say that is because I have a huge world map hanging in my room. You're welcome.
Without looking at the map.
in 15 minutes i found
136 countries out of 196
about 70% accuracy.
Without looking at a map and only going based on memory and a few slamming the keyboard to figure out how to spell it right.
pretty darn good i'd say.
Chances are i can find your country on the map. :)
-----------
Big ones i missed were Ecuador, Guatemala, Cambodia.
Missed about 30% of the African states, and missed most of Oceania and Carribbean island countries. Also missed a lot of the smaller European countriles like Malta, San Marino, Lechtenstein, etc.
I got 84... Some of the countries I listed it wouldn't accept, like Scotland, Bosnia, Prussia, Greenland, and a few others... I guess they're not counties anymore?
I got 84. Some in South America tripped me up for spelling apparently as did a few in eastern Europe. Tibet should have been listed but it wouldn't accept it nor were some in the Indonesia area New Guinea should have been acceptable as well as the Admiral Islands.

1. Scotland is part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
2. Bosnia is called Bosnia & Herzegovina nowadays
3. Prussia disappeared when the German states unified into Germany in 1871.*
4. As others have said, Greenland is part of the Danish Kingdom and therefore not a separate country.
* Sorry, this isn't correct. Prussia was not abolished until 1932, 1947 formally.
