Huge double standard

Ok, we all know about Imus and his comment that got him fired. It got huge press coverage and there was huge outrage.

And he is a guy who wants to kill all white people. I bet very few people have heard of him. He said completely racist and genocidal remarks and yet no one said anything. He said this on national TV (though he said it on C-Span which very few people watch) and yet there was no reaction at all.

Why does the U.S. have double standards like this?

Yeah its terrible. A good bad example in video games is .50 cents Bullet proof (my buddy bought it for $5). In that game fifty cent's character uses the N word about once every 30 seconds. What up with that?Darthmatt

This is what happens in a multi-racial society. It will never be equal. Someone always has to have the power and someone won't. Why? because segregation is a natural instinct. As long as the power difference isn't sinificantly large, then everything is fine.

True, people spread hate like that all the time, but usually no one bothers tocare or give them attention.I think this guy hid what he felt until he was on tv live.
