hes charging me $100 for it. maybe i would by it on a whim if it was $1.50 for a pint, but i really dont know what i would do with half a pint of blood. but theres no way in hell im drinking it...

If by good, you mean makes you crazy, he's right. I heard people on some island in Central/South America who are cannibals go insane because they eat other people's brains. There's too much of whatever there is in brains that the cannibals bodies can't handle it. Or something like that. I don't know how blood can be good for you, unless you're a vampire. Even then I don't get it.

That is because some of the brains they eat are diseased and sick, so when they eat it, you get a disease similar to Mad Cow except for humans. I can't remember the name, but it is like Credo-Jacobs disease or something :P

It's Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, and it's a TSE just like BSE (mad cow). It's caused by prion proteins in the brain.
