What do you think about it? I sit possible. With cloning can people create human animal hybrids?

I see no problem with it. Not really possible because we cant fully replicate what the fetus goes through so it can look different in the end and he wont have the same life experiences. Then other people say that only God should make life etc etc. I say if you want to then go for it. If you dont then shut the **** up

There is no need for us to just straight up clone someone. The only benefit cloning would have would be giving doctors the ability to clone certain parts of our bodies (Your skin is burned off or something, we could just clone skin cells). But I still don't know if that's something that stem cells could handle just as well. Stem cell research is definitely more important than cloning IMO.

I'm only against full out human cloning because it could get into the wrong hands and there isn't much benefit to it. Stem cell research on the other hand is ok but you figure if some evildoer (lmao) gets a hold of the technology, they can probably find a way to clone someone.

It's impossible, if you take the probability of success of genetic manipulation as a function of how drastic the change is, a slight increase in complexity will reduce the probability to near 0.

I support it. I could come in handy during a war.

If I were the head of a cloning division. I would only clone humans for there organs. And get rid of the rest of there bodies.

Dude, "the rest of there bodies" is made of organs too. Don't tell me you're throwing all that good stuff away!

I sure think it would be crazy. Much like the havoc in The Island movie.

I would have no problems with it but what or who exactly does it benefit? With multiple clonings, there can be genetic degradation.

We cannot reliably create full animals by cloning yet, and I think it should be illegal to try until we can do such things as just clone tissue in the meantime. On that note, we already clone humans, just only parts of their tissue. It is morally wrong to create a life artificially (in vitro fertilization notwithstanding) because it makes a person a science experiment and I do not feel that they can ever feel normal and like other human beings. I do not propose we try and see the psychological side-effects of the existential knowledge that you are a clone made for science: they are apparent from afar with distant speculation. In any event, what society would we have become if not only do we take life with impunity, but also create perversions of it with the same ease? That is a power too great.

Well cloning may have some drawbacks, but imagine if they could make about a billion copies of jessica alba. Id have a chance!

the best thing we would get from clones would be... we would pay an agency to clone us and then the clone would be sent somewhere, when we are injured or need an artery we get our clones. anyone agree???????????????????????????????

you seriously haven't got a clue on what science has accomplished the past 100 years
