Yes, air you can wear. It's been humid here all summer (as always) but this week is especially bad, it's like 85% humidity right now with a muggy dew point of 74. Ugh. Ugh. I can't step outside without my glasses fogging up and my clothes sticking to me.

Heat I can take to some extent, but throw the humidity on top of it and it becomes unbearable. Here in the Tennessee Valley, sandwiched between the Cumberland Mountains and the Smokies, the air just stagnates. It's terrible.

Is it humid where you live? Do you just deal with it or are you a hater like me?

BTW, anyone ever seen those neck cooling devices? Do they actually work?

It's been pretty humid here for some time now. Sucks big time since I have to wear a suit to work and have to walk 10 minutes to the subway station. It just feels so icky.

I live around Phoenix and most days in a year it hovers at or aboue 100 degrees, but the humidity is so low (usually below 10) and that makes the heat bearable

Hell yes. It hasn't been lately, but we've had some days where I wouldn't go outside because it was so miserable.

I live in Albuquerque, temps get into the high 90s and every once in a while the 100s (Not as hot as Phoenix), but the humidity is always very very low here (we use evaporation air conditioning, or swamp coolers). It's a bit worse around El Paso though, it's a bit hotter because it's further south and there is more humidity there.

I have dry heat here. I dont like heat too much. Especially since 80% of my job is me working outside.

If it was really humid like that I would go insane.

However, in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia on July 8, 2003, the dewpoint was 95 °F while the temperature was 108 °F. The heat index at that time was 172 °F (78 °C).Wikipedia

I'll shut up now.

It's been extremely hot and humid all weekend, as well as today. Not to mention I had to work outside the past 3 days. I have the worst farmer's tan ever.

Am I the only person that actually likes muggy weather (to an extent)? :?
