Yesterday I had soo much homework to do (2 labs, and a major assignment, on top of my biochemistry midterm i had today). I was already incredibly overtired, but I decided to just not sleep.

Well in the end I got all my assignments done, to perfection, and aced my midterm but at what cost? lol.

I was in the hospital yesterday at 4:30 am (3 and a half hours before my midterm), because I seriously overdosed on caffeine, and I felt like I was gonna die. My hands got numb, then my whole body, then I just started to fill real sick. The nurse there said that I would be fine, so I just went home, to finish studying. (it felt like I had food poisoning, and I was numb all over, also I hadn't slept for about 30 hours at that time).

Well I said **** it, I am not missing this midterm, what a waste of being poisoned by caffeine that would be. So I went to my exam while being awake for 33-34 hours, and feeling sicker than a dog, and wrote my exam. I found it pretty easy, I was just hoping not to feint before I finished it lol. I noticed a lot of other people were having trouble with it, but i thought it was easy (i think it is because I studied for it more, instead of sleeping).

So what did I learn from this? I have nooooo idea. I guess if I want to get into medical school I have to abuse the hell out of my body, and hopefully i don't die.

(also yesterday I had made this post http://www.gamespot.com/forums/show_msgs.php?board_id=314159273&topic_id=25973690 before going to the hospital lol).

I don't know what you want here, sympathy? I got none, it's your own fault if you end up being that pressed for time. Lab reports you would have a minimum 1 week before it was due, assingments, also most likely at least a week. Studying, well if you want to do med school and you think cramming through the night is going to cut it it isn't (and don't mention a tough schedule or to busy, everyone is busy, i work 20-30 hours a week and take 5 classes (4 labs) it's time managment, the only time it is fair to complain about scheduling is if you are writing multipel finals or midterms on the same day).

I'm not that surprised, but I predicted a collapse after the exam so I was a bit off...

Well I am not a crammer, though i can if i have to. In one of my classes I have handed in the next 3 weeks of assignments, and I actually studied most of this stuff in the summer before my class even started. It is just that I had so many things to do. My god damned lab partners dont give a ****in sh1t about their lab mark or their gpa, so I have to do all the work, so I can get a good gpa. So I'm not lazy I m just a perfectionist. The lowest mark I have received so far this symester has been 19/20, or 95%. So what ever lol...

heh, I hope when I'm in college (I assume you are) I don't need to cram all that stuff... school's always been so much easier for me than for other people... I've yet to seriously study for a test this year and I still have straight A's. Of course I am a freshman in high school, it can't be that hard.

Well if u go to a respectable college, it will be a lot of work even if u can instantly learn things, because, you should have lots of papers to write, and lots of labs to go through. Really you kind of have to inst-learn things to be able to get straight A's, otherwise you won't have enough time to do all the work, and study for exams, lol.

So you may have that part of it, but do you have the work ethic part who knows?

then again you might not even care to get A's, so in that case you should be fine.
