Sometimes girls tend to go for heavier set guys since their dad might be a big guy, and you should know about girls, and their daddies.

This so reminds me of my high school experience. I was fat (wouldn't call myself ugly though) and didn't think I was really qualified to "date" any of the pretty girls. I ended up meeting this beautiful girl at a convention and we really hit it off. Yeah, I know everyone says their gal was beautiful but in my case it was actually true. lol. At any rate, six months later we started seeing each other. I was so motivated to keep her that I lost all that extra weight. Next thing you know I bring her to a dance (she didn't go to my school) and I'm the hottest new thing in the junior class.

Lesson learned? Women aren't nearly as shallow as men. A great personality goes a looong way. Just doesn't try to overcompensate by being the super super super nice guy. That's a turn off and it's a little annoying.
