I am going bald!?

Alright so I'm fairly young (under 30) and I'm worried that I might be becoming bald.

There's no history of male baldness in my family though(grand parents, parents or uncles and so on), so its pretty crazy :(

I went to get a very short haircut a couple days ago and when I came back home and looked at myself in the mirror I noticed this:

I am going bald!?

how old are you and have you noticed any hair loss while taking a shower?

Might as well start carrying a mop and a bucket and call yourself Mr. Clean.

If you notice hair loss then you're sick

if not then it's just because your hair is short/thin. :P

Thats nothing, Im 23 and have family and friends pointing out my very visible bald patch! I used to have such beautiful hair too :cry:

Mine started dropping out at 23. Bothers others, but not myself. Most guys just go shave-head early these days.

I was going bald (26 years old), you could see my scalp and had bad receding hair line. The sides were still thick though. Now that I'm in chemo I'm completly bald, so be happy wit whatever hair you have.

Could it be stress, I mean I do not know for certain so you would have to look it up but could be possible if you are under stress that may be having a effect on you and causing your hair to thin out. even if your going a little bald still not cause to panic yet as now adays there are plenty of treatments to help thicken your hair.

I'm nearly 40 and lucky enough to only just started going a little grey, but not enough for it to be noticible.

Yeah just buff up in the gym and shave it off so you become a sexy bald dude. You have to be careful how you dress so you avoid looking like a neo-nazi, a fashion designer or a bear (unless you are one of those three things then it's cool)EJ902

I'm going bald too. The way I look at it, I save money on haircuts and shampoo. In this economic climate, I'm thinking of actually shaving my head and staying bald before nature kicks in and does it to me first. JustPlainLucas
