I am interested in buying an M1 Garand, and an M1 Carbine, for my rifle collection, but I can not find any newly produced. I thought Springfield Armory makes them, but I can't find them. All I can find on their site is their M1A and 1911. The Garand page doesn't apear when I click on a link to it.

Where can I purchase these rifles, in good condition, new, if possible.

I was looking to get an M1 Garand, as well. There was a magazine in the store that had one new for 1500

May I ask why you're going for recently made weapons for a collection?

Wouldn't an authentic M1 Garand be more fun?

Either way: Garand and Carbine.

I would suggest you try to get your hands on a Mosin-Nagant. Those are some damn nice rifles.

Yeah, if you're a red! :P

They are nice though, I wouldn't mind getting one along side of a PPSH.

One of my friends has a very nice Mosin-Nagant. He likes it far more than his M1s; he finds it has a shape more conducive to gripping and aiming, has better iron sights, is more accurate, etc. And it has an awesome bayonette.

Wow, a collector of rifles like that amazes me. I honestly have no clue where to find things like that but good luck! Just don't use them for evil purposes. :P
