Was just reading this news http://news.msn.co.nz/article/1003807/man-who-beheaded-kitten-jailed
Did he really did it on purpose or was he just too intoxicated?
I wish he really deserved more than 2 years jail.

OMG that really made me mad. I'm a huge cat lover and I actually gasped in shock when I read the part of the headless cat running accross the room. I've been drunk and upset before but I've NEVER had the desire to hurt an innocent creature in such an inhumane way. The man deserves more than what he's getting IMO...
I hope he gets his ass kicked, or worse, on a daily basis.sammyjenkis898
Or worse, choo choo trained.
More informations with lawyer's twisted bull**** http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/australasia/jail-for-man-who-twisted-off-cats-head-in-front-of-family-1878210.html
I still cannot believe his lawyer said his situation was just like running over a cat with a car.
thats pretty disturbing, i wish they gave bans on having pets to people like that in the US, seems like they treat it asa slap on the wrist crime. :?
Who the hell does things like that...that's almost as bad as the dude who buried cats until there heads were poking out of his lawn...then mow the lawn...WHAT POSSESS THESE PEOPLE TO BE THIS CRUEL.
New zealand (my homeland) is ****ed up with all animal cruelty. Many animals are abandoned and bullied and worst. :(
mrhoohex
probably because they out number you guys 40 to 1... self defence really.
ACTUALLY, upon reading the article that sentence was extremely excessive. a pet is YOURS if you want to kill it thats up to you. of course the harsh way that it died does mean punishment...maybe a $500 fine? harden up.

Lack of hugs? I barely get hugged and I've never wanted to destroy a cat in a cruel manner.

So if I kill a cat that's roaming on the street, my punishment should be extremely harsh, but if I kill a cat that I pick up at the pound, my punishment should be lighter?

barely.
the difference between barely and never, is ultimately what makes the difference between sheryl manson and charles manson.

that pretty much what i'm saying... of course you may be rejected socially if your daily routine involves picking up cats from the pound and tearing their heads off. a cat is a cat, not a human, i'm not saying i would do it just that its not worth 2 and half years in jail.[QUOTE="Grandotaku"]

I say we twist his head until it detaches from his body, but right before it does detach, someone kicks him in the fleshy patch were his testicles were supposed to be.
"In front of his partner and her children, Snook sat at the dining table with kitten and laughed as he twisted its head off." "Its headless body then ran across the room." O____x lawlBiancaDKAt that part, at first I was like WTF, then laughed my ass off, then fuuu I'm going to hell. But I have seen beheaded roosters run around doing sommersaults and stuff, pretty funny.

I'm saying what's the difference? If you can so free willingly go out and get a cat for pretty much free, than why should the punishment be lighter? It's so easy to get a cat. So if I don't want to get a heavy punishment, I should just go drive down to the pound, because it's just a slap on the wrist if you do that!

to tell you the brutal truth, i dont like cats (HUGE surprise) and the only reason i would be against killing them in public would be the masses of bloody cat carcasses littering the street. and it's definately not something to go to jail for...to tell you the brutal truth, i dont like cats (HUGE surprise) and the only reason i would be against killing them in public would be the masses of bloody cat carcasses littering the street. and it's definately not something to go to jail for...boxofwonder
If that's the case, than murdering anything isn't "something to go to jail for".
Oh, and I don't like cats.

Twisted behaviour such as that definitely deserves to be jailed as far as I am concerned. Animals may not be human, but they are living, breathing beings none-the-less. How would you feel if you had your head twisted off? That cat would feel the same thing.
