I cant believe i shaved my beard because of this

Ive grown a beard 3 months ago. You guys think people in Gaza are Islamists and stuff like this, well think again. Since ive grown this beard, every dam person i know look at me and said "WTF is this? you are a terrorist now?". you wouldnt believe the amount of harrasments i recieved for just a beard. Even in college, i was harrased real hard. I was even threatened to be kidnapped because of beard by Hamas Millitia, because supposdly " i look suspecious because i have a beard". today i shaved it all, and i look like as if i have gone back in time 3 years or something.

That's quite the anecdote.

My dad was almost killed in Haiti years ago because he went down there with his roommate to do some volunteer work. His roommate had a beard and they associated beards with communists back then. Some soldiers pulled guns on them and put them under house arrest. Fortunately, some nuns smuggled got them out on the next plane.

Im in applied statistics course one year ago I had an israeli professor who really did not like this persian kid. So one day the kid walks in 45 minutes late, and takes a seat right next to the professor (normally the kid sat directly behind me). The professor stops lecturing, looks the kid rightin the face and says, "Pouya, what the ****?! What's with that ****** beard on your face? You look like a god damned terrorist, shave that **** man." And proceeded to lecture like nothing had happened.

Every male in the class bust into hysterics, and this other kid and I had to leave the room because we were laughing so hard.
