I cant believe this happened

A few days ago at work this girl I knew came in. She asked me how Ive been. I tell her that I might be getting promoted to Supervisor of my department. Her response was to laugh at me and walk off. It is probably cause I work at Walmart and Im not going to college yet. Im saving up. But is that even an apprortate response? Whats wrong with working to save up for college? She said that her parents are paying for all her expenses. At least Im contributing to funding my education.

I think that's great that you are saving money for college and not other things while your parents spoil you.

She probably thinks you're a Walmart lifer. When I worked at Target (while i was in college), there were several people who claimed they were saving up to go on to school. I think of those people 1 of maybe 6 of them actually did.

Honestly, your best bet is just to ignore the laughter and just prove her wrong. Get your money, get your degree, then just live your life. And if you want, send her a facebook message after you graduate or something and shove it in her face. There are turds everywhere, no matter where you work. Just do what you do and ignore the people who are turds to you.

Murder her parents. Make sure your wearing a trench coat and wear eye shadow at the time, so the blame will be passed to the Gothic sub-culture and not the games industry, those guys can take it.
