I don't know if anyone does this here, but does this annoy you too?

I know people will do it in replies just because, well, it's the internet. It's what we do.

Does it annoy you when someone types like this:
And then we went outside.............We had fun...........then we went over to Toms house and had supper............then Bill broke out the guitar................We jammed for a bit..............."

I'm on another fourm and the person there types like that. IMO it makes you seem if I were talking to you in real life, it would take a while to tell a story or reply to something. I think each period represents a second. 5 periods = 5 seconds, 7 periods = 7 seconds, ect. Does it annoy anyone else? I'm re-reading his post and it makes him sound R word.

It doesn't bother me.As long as the user's message is clear,I'm fine with it.

I only do it once and a while. Usually to make a certain part stand out. It does get annoying when people over do it.

Yes. Yes, that's annoying. I was about to suggest that maybe 3 dots in between words or phrases might make it less annoying , but somehow...it doesn't...seem to...make...any...less...
