I don't like hanging out with my friends anymore.. What should I do?

I used to but lately they've begun to hang out with a load of different people, who I happen not to like. So whenever we are outside they all want to go get the other guys.. at which point I make up some excuse to go home.

Im thinking of just telling them that I dont want to be their friend anymore but we've been good friends for about 5 years.

What should I do?

Well if you don't like the other people that they are hanging out with you can do two things. First off, you can straight up tell them you don't want to be friends anymore and then just make some new ones. Second, you can try to make some time where just you guys hang out and don't let them go to the other people. Anyways, good luck.USmellLikePoopy

That's what I was going to say. I had the same exact problem and did this. It didn't work for me, but I don't keep friends for very long anyway. Try it.

You don't even have to tell them. Just start seperating from them slowly. Stop answering their calls, emails, or any of that stuff. Pretty soon they will just think that you have other interests.ernie1989

I was at this "welcome party" last week and it was only really me and one of my friends, he left early on, but i stayed and met new people, and then went bar hopping and meeting even more new people, even got invited to a few parties and everything for this coming week...
