I don't understand how anyone can like summer.

It's always so hot I can't go to sleep at night. The heat makes me lazy and uncomfortable. Can't go outside and play any sports. The only good thing that comes from all this horrible heat is girls wearing less clothing and wearing really short skirts.

Where exactly do you live that it is so unbearably hot?

I disagree, I think winter is much worse. I live in CO and we literally can't even walk anywhere unless the streets are plowed.

It's like 60 degrees in my basement, which is where I sleep. Summer rules!

My room is cool.

I like the sun and my backyard is lush with vegetation and I like the smells. Where I'm from, you come to love summer, and not take it for granted, because it's only here for 2 months or so.

Yeah, I hate going out in this heat. I have air conditioners luckily, but it uses up all of the power, meaning there are rolling power-outs quite often. Sometimes summer is nice on the dry windy days with some sun, but on the hot sticky disgusting average summer day, its just torture. Winter and spring are best...

Too much heat is probably worse than too much cold, I agree. Especially here - the weather is usually moderate, so no one has air conditioning. Add a few hot days to that and sleeping becomes a sticky, moist mess.

Other than that it's awesome, though. Makes being outside a lot more bearable and it's impossible to argue with the scantily clad angle.

It sucks here too. DC used to be a swamp... so it's terribly humid and feels like 100 degrees for a month straight.

I don't really mind hot or cold weather, it's not that bad. I've got an A/C unit in my room for when it's hot, and when it's cold, I just deal with it. I like summer since it feels great to swim during this time, especially since I live in a hot place like Texas.

The answer is simple:

In the summer, girls are like dogs in heat.

Yeah, because you can actually get some relief in the shade. Not so here.

I hate the heat too. It gets hot here in Fargo, actually. I can tolerate the winter a lot better than I can tolerate the summer. The only good thing about summer is the fact that I get a break from school.

Come to the UK, I bet within 2 weeks you'll be begging it to be hot again.

I only like summer when it's dark outside. During the day, it's just uncomfortably hot out, not to mention the insects come out...ugh. Unless there's a breeze, I always feel like I'm melting when it's hot out, and the sun burns my eyes to a sickening degree.
