What should I have, there's quite a lot of random things in the house and I just can't decide. And no ridiculous girly suggestions like wine or a delicious fruity cocktail. I refuse to drink anything that when mixed turns pink.

And I am of legal drinking age so this thread is government approved.

Ok we have: Rum, port, whiskeys, scotches, gin, multiple ales with humerous sounding names, larger and something called Cockburns which sounds decidedly painful.

My personal favorite? White Russian 2-3 shots vodka 1 shot Kahlua fill the rest with milk or cream Or 2 shots vodka 2 shots bailey's Irish Cream fill the rest of the glass with milk or cream (or just keep putting in shots of vodka and baileys if you want is really strong)

Well, if you dont want straight liquor, I recommend a gin and tonic. I hope you have good gin.

Hmm a white Russian does sound interesting, and it's what The Dude drinks so you can't go wrong. I'm not sure if we have vodka though.

That makes me think. I dont drink alcohol so I dont know, but I saw someone saying to add milk to somthing a few posts above. What if you add chocolate milk? sounds good to me.

For good reason, too. Vodka goes fine with clear sodas, like Sprite or tonic, but save the colas for rum and whiskey. Yuck.

I have no idea what you have against "girlie drinks" considering they usually have more alcohol than say beer. Anyways I suggest Jack and Coke because it tastes minty. Or a whiskey sour if you have the makings for it.

Yeah I don't think I have enough stuff to make the simplest of mixes so I'm settling for one of the bottles of ale with a funny name.

Well, first of all, you should not turn down a drink because of its "girliness". I am big, burly guy. I am 6'3''. I have chest on my hair. I like women. And I wont turn down a cosmo; theyre actually quite tasty.

I generally do not like sweet alcohol (I am a beer drinker by birth), but on occasion a nice cosmo or lemon drop or any number of stereotypical girly drinks just hits the spot.

Be secure enough in your masculinity to enjoy all varieties of alcoholic beverages.

With that said, I suggest you go to your closest seller of fine alcohol and buy a bottle of this

It will help you see God, Buddha, or whatever higher power you may or may not believe in.

oooh, excellent choice! That is a tasty beer, and a good brewery!

Right now I am drinking a Sierra Nevada 30th Anniversary ale. Its a collaboration between Fritz of Anchor Brewing and Ken of Sierra Nevada. Imperial Stout, 9.2% ABV. Caramel, chocolate, and coffee with a slight flavor of sweet cherry. Amazing

The real reason I said no girly drinks is because I knew we'd have none in the house, or no means to make one, plus they tend to involve vodka, which is horrible. That Pliny the Elder sounds intriguing, I doubt they have it in England though.

If you ever get bored of normal drinks, experiment. Back when moldonhold wasn't banned I jokingly told him to blend some NutriGrain bars with vodka and Sprite, and he said that it ended up being delicious.

I like wine, love it even, dont get me wrong, but it is definately a female-centric beverage. Wine is sweet. It is grape juice, fermented. "Soft" people like sweet stuff, things that dont challenge their taste buds.
