I fell victim to a ghost encounter

I was in my kitchen cooking (I have a three story house, and everyone was upstairs except for me, the kitchen is on the second floor). There seemed to be an unnecessary amount of lights on in the house, so I thought out loud to myself "can someone turn off the lights?" Right after I said that, the lights in my living room went off! I heard the actual flick of the light switch, and when I went to see if anyone was in the living room hiding, trying to prank me, all I saw was a shadowy figure float across the room in a reflection off a china glass pantry thing (I don't know whats its called). After being freaked out and running upstairs like a kid, I came back down in the living room and the light switch was down, so the bulbs didnt die out, they turned back on when I flicked the light switch back up.

What could this mean, prove, etc.? If ghost exists, maybe it could be evidence of another realm or dimension of some sort, Some people I've told said it could be indirect evidence of God's existence. Lastly, I know I sound crazy, but trust me, I clearly wasn't dreaming, and no, I am not making this up. What are your thoughts on this? In the past, I thought I had maybe experienced a ghost when wierd things happened, but could all be explained. This time, thats not the case.

If people were home, it was probably one of them.

Well, if you breathed hard it could have created a windpool of air that pushed everything like the buterfly effect and then pushed down on the light switch and turned off light. Then you turned around and saw the dust in the wind in a reflection.

I don't know what it was therefore the most 'logical' explanation is that it must have been a spirit/ghost/whatever

Then your answer should simply be "I don't know" instead of tagging something along the lines of ghosts, another realm/dimension or god to it.
Although I do agree that ghosts make a cooler story! :)
