So the other day, I found a package that said gamefly on it on my front lawn. It wasnt opened yet so I opened it up and there was a Wii game inside. I dont have a Wii and I dont have any use for it. Would it be legal for me to sell? Or does gamefly have some sort of tracing software embedded in their games?
They sure do, and just by touching the envelope they also have tracking on you, if you and it seperate and you never return to it, they WILL come for you
The envelope was soaked when i got to it. Im pretty sure the sprinklers were on just before. All I have now is the disk.. what do you guys think i should do with it?

I would never be able to sell it. Honestly, it's just...wrong. I would get in contact with Gamefly or if you still have the mail address it was supposed to go to, send it to them with an explanation.
It's Gamefly's mistake, and clearly they have put you through some distress as you have posted your dilemma on gamespot. Phone them up tell them the situation and maybe you will get comp :twisted:... long shot much?

I would personally send it to the adress it's addressed to, with a nice little note saying it landed in your yard and MAYBE they'll be generous enough to send something back for your trouble...

They knew who they sent it to (you, unless it doesn't have your address on it). If it doesn't have your address on it, they won't know who has it. If it does, they'll know who it was sent to, and they'll be asking for it after a while. Just send it back, you have no use for it.
