Meteor collided with the earth, loads of dinosaurs instantly killed, rest died out as a result of the winter caused from the meteor sending dust/earth into the air which blocks out the sun, plants die, big dino's die, little mammals hiding underground like...ferrets...survive, evolve into us me thinks :)
