I got a ticket today and I am not a happy camper

Ugh... I got my first traffic ticket today and it was for something really dumb. I won't act like I didn't "commit the moving violation" but I'm ticked off because the guy in the car in front of me did the same thing. I was pulling in a parking garage on my college's campus and when you go in the garage you are supposed to take the long spiral around, well sometimes people cut through and go straight up the ramp instead of going around the other side. The guy driving in front of me does this, so on a whim I do it as well. BAD. There's a cop on a motorcycle sitting across from the ramp, by the time i see him its too late and he flips his lights on. Bottom line is the ticket is $123 and I have to take one of those stupid online traffic classes and I am annoyed!!!

So have you ever gotten a ticket? What was it for? I hope someone has a story to tell so I wont feel so bad :P

I don't get caught.

I've had a ton of parking tickets though, because I leave my car in the street between the hours of 3am and 5am, when you aren't allowed to park on city streets. Its such bullcrap though, what am I supposed to do, drive home drunk when I've been at a friends place drinking?  

I was in another city, and I didn't know the speed limit was 30, and I was going 50. Needless to say, I was ticketed for speeding.

I've gotten so many speeding tickets.........once I had two close together so I had to retake a driver safety test. I didn't deserve the first one as I wasn't speeding but I didn't know the bicyclist was a cop so I gave him the proverbial finger when he told me to slow down. He was not amused.LJS9502_basic
