But when i gave my wallet to the robber, he searched it and then gave it back to me. I had 32 dollars btw. When i got home i checked my wallet anyway, and there was 1 dollar in it, he took everything except for 1 dollar......

Small time crook looking for drug money. He probably didn't want your credit cards or anything, he could get in a lot more trouble with those, that's probably why he took the cash. Also I'm sure he just missed the other dollar.

Someone tried to rob me once but I knew all the idiots all of them were in my classes. Was going to call the police after they left but I was hungry said "fvck it" and went to McDonalds.

Zig zag only works if you're far away to begin with. If he's being robbed, he's most likely in point blank range at this point. The moment he tries to run, it's game over.

This is why you get a decoy wallet and give that to robbers. If they saw you buying something then just say you ran out of money. If you got change (hopefully small change) put it in that wallet. :o

Ive had a knife pointed at me before, and there was 2 of them, let me tell you your brain doesn't always work that way, the adrneline can mess up your mind. I just stood there and hit one of them in the gut, and i ran. Let me tell you they in no way had baggy pants and almost caught up to me, but luckily my dad saw me running and he was driving in his car, and I got in and we drove off.

It's funny how most of these comments are laughing at the OP. I consider this as something that is a bit more serious and shouldn't be joked about unless the OP thread/post was a joke? Anyhow, sucks that you got robbed, but as long as you're alive, that's all that matters!

One of my friend told me a story about being robbed at knife point. The guy just snuck up behind him with a knife by his throat at the bus stop during the night so he didnt have much of a choice to run. He said it just wasnt worth keeping the wallet over that.

o.O Am I the only one here who would gladly just hand over my money if the guy had a pretty serious-looking weapon at point blank range? I mean, what if the guy catches up to you? Wouldn't you assume he knifes you pretty badly?
