And it hurts so badly!!:cry: Does anyone know how to get rid of it, and quick pain relief? Please I need the help, it's killing me.

Me too, i just tough it out. I even had to do 8 hours of football a day with them, tape it up thats all i can say.

put water in a dixie cup. leave it in the freezer overnight. peel the bottom off and massage your shins and calves using that bottom. just keep peeling the cup back as you go. my track coach told me this and it worked perfectly.

as an pretty advanced runner myself i have some tips for you:

1. ice baths, either at home or at school, just go in up to your knees stay in for about 12 minutes, do it every other day

2. tiger balm, buy the clear stuff, rub it on your shins about 20 before you do athletics

3. stop doing athletics, better not be an option

4. talk to a trainer or dr or look online and find specific stretches that isolate the specific shin splint areas

5. just work though it, once you warm up your lower legs get naturally loose and the pain should subside
