i did the phone interview last week. friday is the in person. any tips for people who work/worked there?

Good for you, and good luck! I don't work at Future Shop but some of their employees have jokingly stated that they see me around their stores so much I should probably be on their payroll...
tell them you love there product replacement plan. I heard an ex manger talking about how much the company was pushing it and how they hated there employees for not pushing it.
Just make sure to tell them that you will annoy the hell out of people with extended warranties, that seems to be the main qualification to get a job there.
Cover yourself in tinfoil. Show up for the interview. Explain that you are from the future, and that in the future you work at future shop. This highly humorous stunt will make it easier for you to get noticed in this violent sea full of sharks.
