I had a dream last night...

I'm hoping one of you bright minded can help me understand what it means:

The dream starts off in a city, I'm in a car, driving towards my destination. My destination is a hotel, owned by some rich guy who supposedly owns the entire city more or less. In other words, he has become too powerfull. I'm on my way there because I've been given the assignment to fix this "problem".

When I arrive at the hotel, I meet two guys. They hand me two items, one of them is a brush of some sort, and I can't recall what the other item is. Non theless, I ask them what I need these items for, they say:"its up to you to find out".

Anyway, we are at the back of the hotel, and we enter down to the basement. As we walk in a woman is seen walking infront of us, then one of the 2 guys shoots her in the back. They send me to check if she's dead, and she is. Afterords they send me outside again, to go around the hotel, and to a window. The window is covered in frost, so I can't see inside, then I try to get inside, suddenly a woman breaks the glass with her hand and reveals where I am.

The dream restarts, I'm back outside the basement, same thing happens, we walk inside woman gets shot. Then I walk to the window again, but this time I use the brush to get the frost away. I can see through the window, and inside there's a woman, as she turns away from the window and is headed towards the door in the opposite direction, I open the window sneak behind her and try to break her neck, but I fail and I use several attempts to kill her, givinbg her the oppertunity the yell for help.

The dream starts over again, I'm at the basement again same thing happens.Then i walk to the window again, but then I wait till she has gone through the door. I walk inside, follow her to her room and kill her. But as soon as I have done that a maid sees me and screams.

Dream starts over again, I'm at the window again this time I break her neck fast and wait for the maid, then I try ro kill her, but it ends in a struggle. Dream starts over again, this time I manage to kill both the woman and the maid without making a sound, then I proceed out the door and down a hallway. Next thing I now I'm at a party, sitting around a table with my family. I then walk to the kitchen where my friends and family are at, there's a bag on the floor, it's mine, inside is severed bodyparts.

The dream ends with me standing next to the bag talking to my family, scared of them discovering the secrets of my bag.

This was not a videogame dream, I've had my share of those and know how they play out.

I'm no expert, but I think that perhaps you are feeling really guilty at the moment.

The incessant death in your dream could represent the sins you feel you may have commited, and at the en, in front of your family symbolises that you want to hide your guilt.

That is a guess by the way.

try to break yourself off the patern of the dream, instead of going to a hotel, go home.

It's not always that way in dreams, those are lucid dreams, while there are some dreams in which you can't control what you're doing.
