I have so many cats in my neighborhood thier driving me nutz. I hear them fighting at all hours of the night. I even find them on my porch from time to time mewowing and stuff. Right now I have one outside my window making all kinds of noises. If people can't take care of thier pets they shouldn't have them or get them in the first place. I'm about to get a bb gun and start exterminating them. Not out of cruilty but just to get rid of them.
If someone has a cat and keeps it indoors it's no problem i don't mind them. But when someone get a pet and throws it outside to live and it ends up on my doorstep all the time I get anoyed.
I'm personally not found of cats because of their cute factor and they don't help around the field the way dogs do so typically there is no use for them. Another thing I hate about cats is they think they are better than you. No animal is better than a human that's why we hunt them.
I know how you feel dude. I found this cat under my bed a couple of months ago, it turns out he had made a hole under my bed and hes been living there for some time now. Who knew?

BB gun won't kill 'em but you can definately get rid of them.
As a kid, Dad and I took turns picking them off with a BB gun when they camped under the bird feeder. The same cat would never come back after getting hit once on the backside.
EDIT: Don't do this. I recently found out that popping cat's on the butt with a BB gun is considered animal cruelty. The nieghborhood cats all camp out in my yard since I am like the only person on the block without dogs.

Sounds to me like you use the cats as an excuse to vent your anger. Are there really THAT many cats? You make it sound like there is a cat around every corner that annoys you for just being alive.

My cats are awesome! They always entertain me with their violent fights and 2 of them play fetch :P! They are actually more interesting than my dog who just pisses everywhere and eats from the cat's litter box and leaves remains on the carpet! :cry:

I hate dogs. They bark and they bite and they're ugly. I love cats though, they're intelligent and cute :) If you shoot one with a BB gun I'll break your legs
I think I can understand a little of what mean. I used to live in a neighborhood where the cats would be whining and screaming at night. It means they're females and they're in heat. I think they're looking for a mate. So if I were you, I wouldn't expect the cat population to decrease, only increase :D
Don't worry, it's not you. Cats are evil animals that hate all human life. If there was a war between cats and dogs I'd buy a flamethrower to take out those cats.
I can see where a lot of cats could get annoying. There seem to be a lot of them in my area as well but I only see them, not hear them. There was a sketch on season one of Robot Chicken where a cat stuck out its leg and tripped his own down a flight of stairs. The words "Cats are jerks" then came across the screen.
