That's why I don't go to the doctor. Haven't been for 4 years for my mandatory check-up. 8)

That sucks. I know someone who had to get his kibbles and bits checked out. The doc spent an hour fondling his grapes, the problem was that the doc was a 60 year old man. With cold wrinkly hands

If you don't like it, get medical insurance.

Doctors go to school for many years and pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to help people like you. Stop being so ungrateful. Be thankful that you even have access to medical treatment.

Uh, yes you do... There's no such thing as free healthcare... ultimately you're probably paying more...

They are good to have around but I try to avoid them because of the price even though I don't pay for it. My parents do but I don't want to be a burdon. (sp)

Yeah, but you're healed, are you not?

Anyways, don't hate the doctors, they don't determine the prices.

Did you go to the Emergency room when you got the shots? If so, that 600.00 is what got you service. Yes, get insurance. Alot of what you are billed for is covered under insurance. Plus, 600.00 is not that much compared to getting serviced for a life-threatening illness.

I get what your saying. I had just an eye-check up appointment and it costs my parents 170$ just for a 15 minute check up. Anyway, 2 years ago back in sophmore year when i broke my wrist, everything total was over 2000$ by the time it was healed. That included me going to the emergency room(ugh, so expensive), 1 x-ray of my wrist, and 2 casts.
