Yeah, it sucks when you realize your awesome experience was just a dream.I don't think I've forgotten an awesome dream when I wake up, but a day or two later I don't remember it usually. What I hate more, is having an awesome dream and waking up and saying something to the extent of "dang just a dream"

Can't answer the poll, I only remember a few nightmares (have been having the same ones over the years) :(
When I was a kid and played all the day I usually had nightmares for some reasonI usually have dreams about me playing MW2 or some game I played before going to bed. So, I guess my dreams are kind of lame. :)

[QUOTE="Snipes_2"]When I was a kid and played all the day I usually had nightmares for some reason Oh, I don't play all day. I just dream about games for some reason :P Except for after I have an Exam, then I dream about getting a good grade or failing miserably :)I usually have dreams about me playing MW2 or some game I played before going to bed. So, I guess my dreams are kind of lame. :)

My dreams tend to be quite disturbing more often than not, but I know what you mean, TC; good ones are the ones I always forget...
i hate waking up, cause then it means i have to deal with real life

to answer the thread question, yeah it sucks. i've been having interesting dreams lately, which means they've been good. last night, i dreamt that i was in jail lol. i had to be there for a week. a few of my friends were in there with me. i remember being worried because i didn't know if i was going to have to "prove myself." :P
i tend to remember my scarey as h*** dreams, but i almost never remember my uber epic ones
but there are the few epic ones i do remember
its epic fighting of zombie hordes with your best friends
...And I completely forget about it upon waking up. >_>

One thing you can do is to keep a notebook and a pen next to your bed. Then as soon as you wake up, write down what happened and sketch what you saw. And yes, do this IMMEDIATELY, because even waiting a minute can be enough to forget your dream.
This is actually something that I've always wanted to do, but never got around to. The thing is, I am NOT a morning person. When I wake up, the last thing I'm thinking of doing is trying to write and draw and ****. I just want to go back to sleep.
But instead of doing a dream journal, I decided to go another route. I like going to sleep more than I like being asleep. So now, I generally set my alarm clock a good 2 hours before I plan on getting out of bed. And this eventually led to something really sort of cool.
At first, as soon as the alarm went off, I'd hit the snooze button and I wouldn't be able to go back to sleep. But over time, the snooze button ceased to COMPLETELY wake me up. It woke me up just enough to note the time, note that I still have another 40 minutes to sleep. The alarm started waking me up just enough that I had the faculties to immediately hit the snooze button, and then go right back to sleep. Pretty soon, I could get woken up by the alarm, hit the snooze button, and then re-enter the exact same dream that I was experiencing before I woke up in the first place.
And from there, it was a short step towards MODIFYING my dreams.
Like, I might be dreaming that I'm eating a hamburger, when the alarm goes off and wakes me up. I immediately jump up, hit the snooze button, and start consciously thinking "hamburgers suck, I want lasagna instead". Almost immediately I fall back to sleep and enter the same dream, only now I'm eating lasagna instead of hamburgers.
Let me also state that if Nightmare on Elm Street was a real situation, that's how I'd solve the problem. I'd just set my alarm to go off immediately, then I'd learn how to get a decent sleep while repeatedly hitting the "snooze" button on the alarm clock. Over time, I'd adjust to getting woken up at ten minute intervals, and then Freddy Krueger would be in trouble. All I'd have to do is manage to stay alive for ten minutes at a time. Then the alarm wakes me up and I think, "damn, it sure would have been nice if I had a bazooka". I then fall asleep and enter the same dream, only now I'm carrying a bazooka.
Anyway, that kind of sleep habit probably is not healthy for me. But like I said, I am not a morning person. I HAAAAAATE getting up in the morning. And honestly, going to sleep gives me more pleasure than BEING asleep. So I set my alarm clock in such a way that allows me to repeatedly go back to sleep multiple times during the course of a single hour.
Okay,I know you guys will think I am weird but
When I dream its usually a mish-mash of random events but some times they come true
Like when I was dreaming about life, school, girls(As most normal guys do)I dreamed that this one chick was goiung to ask me out and what do you know she asked me the next day
How friken weird is that
What's worse is having a dream that's disgusting and evil with every bad thing you can ever imagine. Like I did today for example :(
Most of the time I forget most of these bad dreams which is good but some bad dreams are still stuck in my head to this day :x
I hate waking up when I'm having a really awesome dream. They feel so real as I'm having them, then I wake up to darkness and disappointment. I would have no problem lying there for a little while longer in ignorant bliss.
