08:00 hours. Legally allowed time to start doing work in a flat in my country. The flat that is being worked on is right above me. Considering it's in the middle of the building, I'm probably not the only one who wishes we could buy real guns in my country. Went to sleep at 04:00 because I had no idea about the scheduled interruptions to my sleep. FML.

Do you often get to experience the wonderful sound of drilling a wall for 2 hours, wishing you could use the drill on your head to stop the bloody ringing?

I'm at my parents' house, so no, there's no drilling. There are however, a s***load of birds chirping, and it's currently 0344. I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep. Why the hell are birds chirping this early in the morning for? I need an air rifle with an infared scope on it.

Well if no one is able to see you kill the birds then lucky you.

So...they should opt to NOT work just because of the off-chance that there MIGHT be someone nearby who likes to sleep late?

That'd be a motherf***er if they did see me. Then they might get on the Internet and complain about it.

I never said that. I said they should have posted a warning on the building enterance so I could have known to go to sleep early.

Well there is a chance that something else, other than a wall, is being drilled but I'm not going into it.

That's when I get home from work and would most likely be trying to sleep a little. It would annoy me I suppose but 8am seems to be typical go to work hours for the sun goers.

Not drilling, but lawnmowing at 7 AM one time. I go to bed at midnight because I have to get up at 9AM and get ready to leave for work soon. So it really sucks when this dude across the street woke me up with that. Who mows a lawn at 7AM lol

Ya thats too early for so much noise. I hate it when the lawn people are outside my window with their noisy equipment. Last semester i was up all night studying for an exam and planned on sleeping for just 4 hours, 2 hours after I fell asleep I was woken up by what sounded like a dirt bike buzzing outside my window. It was around 7 am and the guy was outside my window for like 15 mintues.

I think it's worse when my mother calls me at noon or my sister texts me to ask something stupid when they know I work nights.

In the absence of a real drill (not that one), I guess this might come in handy.

Well I was woken up by the sound of birds chirping because a magpie killed another bird. The dead bird is still in my back garden

I have a similar problem with the sun. It comes up every day at around 6-7 AM, and it is so bright. Interupts my sleep every time.

I hate when I start a party at 12 am and everyone in the neighborhood's sleeping so I always have to wake them up.

Theres a constant buzzing noise coming from the floor below, it makes it hard to get to sleep sometimes. Plus, the sun seeps in through the side of the curtains, makes it hard to continue sleeping.
