What I tell all the people who are "depressed" or think their life sucks: As long as you have at least a decent roof over your head and a steady supply of food and water, you shouldn't be complaining because countless people in the world have less. munu9
That is good advice in my opinion. If he lived in a third world country I'd say he doesn't have a right to be depressed as long as he has the things you listed, but living in New York hardly constitutes a third world country and having just those things alone really isn't enough to make a person happy. No one should have to suffer from boredom. Just my two cents though.

"suffer from boredom" What I see that as he has time to waste, leasure time. There are countless people in the world who don't have that kind of time, and this guy's complaing that he does?Â

Yeah, I got 2 jobs right now, and the only free time I have is on the weekends, which I usually end up doing something that is not fun. I'd love to have some more free/sleep time....

They say their life sucks when "mommy and daddy" don't get them what they want. I wanna kill myself whenever I hear one of them.

Yep, I don't want to be on a high horse but life is great, even if I have some problems I am happy. I'm not homeless and have food and water. Walk around NYC, its what I do and it never ceases to amaze.
I live in the LES.
