Seriously, people always talking, the crunch of food being eat, the slurps of people drinking, people laughing when things aren't funny, people gasping, people talking about what just happened and making stupid jokes that only their friends laugh at but they think they are so funny that everyone around won't mind him talking during the movie. people commenting about how stupid something is, or pointing out the plot holes, or saying facts like which actor is which, and of course the worst offense, screaming babies! One time a lady next to me took out her phone and starting blabbering in spanish on it... I wanted to ***ing strangle her! Not to mention all the people who try to cut in line, get in first, or take your/or your friends seats. I hate it, I'll just wait for the DVD to come out next time!

I always wait about a month after the movie is released so the theater is almost empty, but yeah people are stupid, can't even do 2 simple things. Shut up and watch.

Where I live people are fairly good in theatres, and the staff will remove the ones who aren't. During King Kong a couple years ago an overweight guy answered his phone one row in front of me and some friends and said, quote "What? No I can talk for a minute. What is it?" like he had been asked if now was a good time by the other end. My friend leaned down and quietly cussed him out, which was pretty out of character for him.

I hate when people take their kids to the theater and let them run around the isles and talk during the movie. They should at least have the decency to tell them to sit down and shut their mouth.

I saw Spider Man 3 last night and a baby stated balling his eyes out. A guy from across the theater yelled "GET THE **** OUT" and I applaud that guy. Also every time Spidey did something good a guy would stand up and clap for a minute. And a kid like 6 years old kept saying this is boring and who is that. God I wanted to shoot myself

You forget clapping in the movie theater. I absolutely hate when people start clapping at something (in unison) that just happened on the screen. The actors can't hear you clapping! I remember seeing one of the new star wars movies in the theater and when Yoda showed up and whipped out his lightsaber people were going crazy. WTF is wrong with you people? Its just so lame.

I agree with you. Except for the whole clapping and cheering thing. Noises that are made by people who know better are annoying but things like a baby crying...I mean come on...baby sitters aren't always easy to find and they're expensive sometimes. Give some people a break. It's not like most people here understand or appreciate what it's like to have kids yet they act like they know how it should be done.

Hmm...must be only in Saskatchewan then, because I know for sure that I didn't enjoy Spiderman 3 with all these little 14 year old girls being like "OMG, like whatever! *pulls out cell phone*...OMG, like whatever! *all her popcorn is gone* OMG, like whatever!"

Whenever I go it always seems empty, but then thats probably because there is hardly any really good films out these days. Its also way overpiced, and not really worth the journey. Waiting for DVD FTW

yeah i dont like the noisy kids, but when ppl clap its for like 3 seconds and cheering doesn't last that long, but little kids are annoying, also at spider man 3 someone came with a spidey suit and everyone went crazy.

Hey, you! If you keep chewing on those M&M's I am going to physically come up there and shove them down your throat! I demand complete silence while I am trying to figure out the plot to The Condemned.

I saw a special screening of Spider-man 3 on thursday and these full grown adults were messing around behind us. Since it was a special screening the Union Tribune gave out little flashlights. Then during the movie they shine the lights at the screen and started making hand puppets... People were yelling a laughing and Im thinking to myself "Wow full grown adults being so immature." I just wanted to go up there and shove the flashlights up there butts!

I'm ok with them,i've never had a problem with people eating (how can u hear them unless your watching a silent movie?) but i have a problem for the tw*** that laugh so bloody loud, every 5 seconds,ok yh this isn't a problem in non-comedy films but for comedy films it almost soils the experience.

I love going to the movie theatre. Grab some popcornand a drink and you're set.

The only problem that I encounter rarly is the crying baby (most people just get a babysiter so it's not an issue but when you go see a G movie it can happen quite often). The other is the trendy teenagers. You know the stupid group of 6 or so friends who always laugh so they get noticed as if they are trying to get a date. Again it depends on the movie. If it's a comedy that is all about dumb laughs (and I'm saying that's a bad thing) you will always get these retards.

I've never had issues at the theater.  though I remembered when we took my brother to see Superman (i think he was only 3).  Not only did I have to watch a somewhat disappointing movie, but he served as an annoyance to me as well (not sure if anyone else even noticed since the theater was actually emptier than i thought.
