This. It's not lying if you believe it to be true. Also, he can say "My nose will grow." and not be lying. His nose will, in fact, grow if and when he tells a lie. So there.

Not necessarily English it would just be nice if TC actually finished the sentence so I knew what he was asking, I presume it's supposed to say "My nose will be growing." Maybe nothing happens until he says his next lie, in which case his nose will grow, making that statement true.
IDK. It's like the judge saying "If you say a true statement you get 5 years, and if you say a false statement you get 10 years", and the defendent says "you're going to sentence me to 10 years" and the judge has to let him go. But in this case there's no cop out, unless his nose falls off.....

It will grow if he believes it will not. He is aware that it only grows when he lies. Saying that it will grow (assuming he means at that instant and not any time till death) is a lie . As a result it will grow. If the little bastard does not really know what will happen then the statement is more of an experiment and the nose does not grow even though the statement was false.Also will not grow if he believes it will. A matter of what he believes I suppose .
I'd say it'd still grow, because under the conditions at the time that he made the statement, his nose wasn't going to grow. It was a lie that by pure chance became true after the fact. Doesn't change the fact that the initial intent was to lie.
