So anyway, read the title.

Although, I have chosen 3 things, so I need you guys to help me decide!

TheRenegade game chair.

$650

It has:

  • A pair of speakers on the head rest
  • Ipod compatibility
  • A whole heap of vibrators all over it, which beat with the music, and respond to in game actions (feel the gunshots!)
  • A cup holder!!!!
  • Stain proof fabric
  • Has crappy speakers apparently
  • Though the vibration feedback isn't Programmed, it just responds to loud noises, loud music, and anything else. :(

The logitec G25 Racing wheel

$290

  • Costs $200 less than it does in shops.
  • Has 900 degree steering
  • the wheel jams if the wheel in the game your playing jams
  • Has awesome force feedback
  • Comes with brushed aluminium pedals and gearstick
  • The gearstick can be switched between up and down, or the six gear setting.
  • Easily attatches to any desk.

A second 4870x2:

$670

  • It'll get a hard 60 fps in ANY GAME
  • It'll eat up far cry 2 and crysis for breakfast. OM NOM NOM...
  • It'll micro stuuter a lot.
  • What if Nvidia releases a card more powerful than both?

Or should I buy something else?

If you don't know what to buy, it's often best to just save your money. Invest it. That $650 could be worth a lot more a decade from now, and it's all money you'd barely have to lift a finger to earn.

That's what I meant to say... just couldn't find the right words :)

Seriously, spending too much money can hurt you in the long run. I've been there.

Yup. A lot of people seem to always buy something when they get the right amount of money. Better kept in case of emergency.

Besides, those kind of luxury gaming peripherals won't last you. I should know >_>

Yeah I would save it. I don't see why it's necessary to buy anything just because you have money. I have $8,000 in my savings account and I don't spend any of it. I have a 51cm CRT (flat screen) television) and am sitting on a chair that I've had to reattach the arm rests to and using another chair as a footrest that lost it backrest. Screw spending hundreds of dollars for slightly better resolution on my TV or even a fancy chair. It's wasteful consumerism.

Ya know what, instead of getting a chair that is pretty specific, can only sit one person and may not last longer than 5 years, get something that you can use for when you get older for your lounge. Get yourself a Lovesac, thats what I bought. I bought the Moviesac, its pretty cool.

Its better than a gaming chair, more comfortable too.

Ever heard of a bank? lol

Out of those I'd go with the chair but if it were my money I'd save it.

Save it until you actually want something. With technology, the longer you wait, the better deal you will get.

I've got lots of money, relatively, and I've never purchased a chair in my life >_> There's always hand-me-downs and such you can make do with.

yea, back in my college days...when I didn't know anything, there were offers for $300 credit lines...lol...and yes it is very American to be in debt, why do you think we're the economic crisis we are now....it's been that way since we got off the gold standard.

Probably should have put a /sarcasm at the end of my original post

I had a credit card in college that was like 2k credit line i think. of course now i have like 16k limit on my amex but no way do i ever plan to get near that. in fact i set an alarm to send me an email whenever i spent over 2k on it a month.

My statement ending balance last month was only 200 dollars :o Of course, the woman and I split food on a joint credit card, so that's not including food.
