I wish I was around to enjoy OT's golden age. I didn't start coming here until about a year ago.

I was around on SW for much, much longer. I still remember when SW was backed up with something like 20,000 pages (30 topics a page). The mass cleaning in Feb. 2007 lowered it to 4,000 or something close to that. I miss all the old greats like PS3_FTW and Thug_Pikachu as well, they made that forum fun. Now it's very strict, and the topics are all the same. It's far past it's prime.

I don't think the adjective "precious" applies here. Historical, maybe. The last one definite deserves permanent archive status. A better topic would have been to zero in on the beginning of OT.

same here, my mind is soooo foggy:P

haha yea i've just recently moved out of systemwars into ot but i odnt regret missing its prime, i cant imagine it would have been much different than sw's or any other good forum. lol at ps3_ftw and thug pikachu, noob flamebaiters, even older members like avrilkilla, ownage_god, ps2_casual, avalanche_04, kinggi and the like made that forum a blast back in the day

I've been a member since 2006 but only started posting often in OT last July. Too bad I missed when OT was consistently good.

yeah that brings back memories. OT 06 was awesome.

Well, I joined in April 2007, so none of that really brings any nolstalgia to me, except for the first link, that is very identical to what gamespot looked like before it got the look it has now. :o

I really don't see how that is any better than now. I guess people just have the urge to complain all the time.
