I have questions about Jews

First of all, as you will soon find out, i know next to nothing about any religion. So be easy on me... But i was wondering;

Why dont Jews celebrate Christmas? Is it because they dont believe in Jesus, or dont think the commercialization is appropriate, or what.

And if the former, WHY dont they follow jesus, if they believe in God, and he was known as the son of God, and preached tolerance. That doesnt seem so bad.

And last.. is there any correlation between Jews eating chineese food on chritsmas, or is that just some weird stereotype?

Jews dont celebrate christmas because we dont believe that Jesus was the son of good, therefore we dont celebrate his birth!

Why we dont believe in Jesus? Well, we believe a messiah will come eventually...some Jews did believe Jesus was the messiah and so followed his religion, whilst others chose not to believe him and thought he was a barmy guy.

And as for chinese food... Hannukah often is near christmas time so Jews eat a lot of things with oil in (kinda like how christians eat turkey on chirtmas)...normally Jews will eat Latkas and dohnuts...but i guess chinese food counts as well.

Hm ok. I also heard that Chineese places are some of the only ones still open on Christmas.

But about not believing Jesus was the saviour... that seems really funny to me (Not that i do either...). I mean as i understand it, God said the Jews were the Chosen Ones right? And then he sent his son as one of them to lead them... and they didnt believe him? I kind of find that hilarious. So are they really waiting for ANOTHER one? Or somebody who is holier then him?

uhh we dont celebrate christmas because whe dont beleive that jesus was the son of god
imo,jesus was probably a great guy.kind,smart,ahead of his time,etc.so yes,jesus was probably a great guy and people probably thought because of this that he was "holy".buti do not believe that hes the mesiah,and there is not enough proof for me to believe that he preformed meracles.
uhh,ive had a couple of friends jewish buddies tell me that they eat chinese food on christmas because its different from the what the christians eat.idk,i find it kind of silly.

My Jewish (and I use the term loosely because they're as orthodox as a ham and cheese sandwich)relatives don't believe Jesus of Nazareth was anything but that; the son of Joseph of Nazareth. That's why they don't celebrate christmas.

Besides, they have Channukah, which also has much more interesting history (a war that lasts a loooong time).

Regarding Chinese food, us semitics don't need aholiday to eat it, it's like crack cocaine to us. So the Chinese Food on Christmas thing is a misnomer based on a damned well proven stereotype (sorry, never met a Jew that didn't love Chinese food, let alone Asian food for that matter)
