I have raccoons in my backyard

Last night I noticed that there was a raccoon outside and I just ignored it, thinking it was just a wanderer passing by. This morning I went into my backyard and I see a family of them (I think there's 4 of them). I grow several fruits and vegetables in my backyard and I don't want them eating of it, is there a way to get rid of them?

Your local PD should have traps you can use.

Kindly invite them inside your house and talk to them about your backyard with them, and don't forget to treat them properly as guests and make them some tea or coffee or whatever. As long as you and the raccoons are able to discuss the matter in a mature, adult manner, I am sure you will be able to work something out with them.

I love raccoons, but if you want to get rid of them go to animal control. They will give you humane traps to use (you may have to put down a deposit, but you will get it back when you bring the traps back).Taylor_B

same with me, i feed them and let them be. heck on nice days when i leave the doors open theyll come in and eat the cat's food.

In order to get rid of a raccoon, you must think like a raccoon. Then you can live among them.

Then kill them with fire, as previously mentioned.

put some sodium inside a salt lick.... works much better on deer but it exterminates just about anything.

Set up like 100 mouse traps. That should do the trick.

Or just use some Raid.
