It kills me to do so since I don't want to penalize the remaining staff for the myopic decisions of management.
I waited until CNet/Gamespot issued an explanation and I am very unsatisfied. I still do not believe management "gets it" and this is the last option I have as a consumer. The tenor of their excuse does not convey regret for poor decision making.
Gamespot staff: I'm sorry. I hope that others taking the same action will get the message across to CNet and Gamespot management, ultimately improving your working conditions.
Gamespot management: I will not return as a customer until those responsible for Gerstmann's dismissal have themselves been fired.
CNet management: I'm done with you too. I hate to say it given the quality of your site, but this is an ethical decision.
