I just gave an old lady $20 for Drugs^_^

I just got off of Work at 12:00am and im walking out the store..i was about to walk to a fast-food place before i walk the rest of the way home..then i saw this old lady and wondered WTF and old woman was doing walking around late at night then she stopped me an ask"Can i ask you a favor" i need some money to fill my prescription" i ask how much was it and she said $20 bucks so i looked in my wallet and gave her the money...she said God bless you and walked away i felt good about it...

would you have done the same thing???

Don't you find it suspicious that she was walking around at midnight asking people for money to fill a prescription when if something was as urgent as getting medication at midnight she could have called an ambulance instead of aimlessly walking the streets looking for money from strangers?-MlKE-

thought about that too..but she had an IV wound with a cotton swab and bandaid covering it and she had no teeth...if she did anything wrong with it shes just shortening her already short time to live..plus a Walgreen's was right next to my job so i didnt second guess

That is so true. I was at Lebanon and there where beggars that I found out get over $60k USD a year from hanging around shops and well... begging.

She was homeless, she didn't know what time it was, she probably didn't even know what day, or year, it was. She was probably already intoxicated or under the influence of some sort of narcotic. Or she was on her way to score a rock.

Now, I don't have a problem with that. I've met a lot of crackheads in my time. And most of them have really pissed me off. I don't care if they smoke so much crack that they die, and I don't care if they live to smoke more crack. Scew 'em, I don't deal with them. I simply don't give a flying **** what happens to them.

However, I like $20. $20 is awesome. And If I'm going to be giving a stranger $20, it had better be for a damn good reason. And unfortunarely for crackheads, I don't consider "I need to buy more crack" as a good reason to part with $20.
