You can neutralize the pull with an equal push. According to Newton: if the sum of all forces equal zero, your leg will be fine and dandy.

you wont find much help here but putting ice on it might help or you could use some sort of heating patch, to say if you have any.

I don't know. I pull muscles a lot and I never do anything for them. They always go away after a few days.

You just gotta rest it. Applying heat and cold is good to keep down inflamation. When the pain starts to subside, I mean a lot, you can go about massaging it. But really, just take it easy with your leg. It just needs time to heal. Oh, and some advil would be good too.
