I just want to know what you guys think

So about 2 weeks ago, it was math period.

I had to use the bathroom, we were taking a test and I had finished. As soon as I finished, I asked to use the bathroom, and my teacher told me no. Earlier in the day she said no one was allowed to use the bathroom during the period. So I waited around 30 minutes and I REALLY had to go, it was coming out(haha sorry :P). I told her it was an emergency repeatedly, and she told me to sit down. I just walked out and went to the bathroom.

So I came back and she sent me to in-school detention(which I was expecting) for the rest of the day(Which was 20 minutes). So after school, I went back to the room and got my books. She called me up to her desk and told me she was giving me a detention. I was so pissed off. Like, I could be at risk for serious health problems, I was just doing good for my body, why should I be punished? I told her that I was having my parents call her because I wasn't being punished for taking care of my health.

Now I already served the detention(Because I still got it) and everything is done with. I just want to know your thoughts on the situation.

I did tell her it was an emergency repeatedly, but she told me to sit down. After the 3rd or 4th time of trying to get a pass, I just left.

Why? He was done with the test. I don't think the techer would have any right to fail someone that does their work and just happpends to need to use the restroom.

But I can relate. My math teacher is really crazy.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who posted their thoughts on this subject. It means a lot to me because it's personal to me, and to many other people out there.

Also, thanks for the comments saying what I did was wrong, because I know there are different ways to handle things, and you guys help me realize it.

I would've done what you did, perhaps I would have left while saying "excuse me" but whatever.

Now that you've served your detention there's no point in dragging this out since your mistake was that you didn't go before class.

What are you complaining? Good health + 20 minutes of detention > A trip to the ER
That was one of the questions on the math test. It was on the back page. No wonder you finished quickly. ;)

I could understand you complaining if the detention went on some sort of record that prevented you from attending extracurricular activities, but it's just a detention really. I waste 20+ minutes on GameSpot on an average day and I consider it detention.
