I just watched Cinderella Man. Enjoyable movie?

I liked it. What would you say are some of the good points and bad points of the movie?

It was a movie that I'd put in the "okay" range. Not terrible, but not great either. I'm a sucker for underdog stories, but I thought that things got laid on a bit thick at times. True underdog stories sell themselves. You don't need to overdo it.nocoolnamejim

The movie was way too Hollywood for my liking. It was desperately screamig oscar-bait.

No. It was based on true events and people. The story, or the actual telling of those events, was cliche.

I liked it quite alot. Probably my second favorite Russell Crowe film after Gladiator.
