I just Watched I Am Legend.

That movie is pretty awesome! The first half of the movie is one amazing psycological horror movie. Especially the "please say hello to me."

The second half was also good, but it turned in to a more action-oriented Hollywood movie.

I almost cried when [spoiler] he killed Sam [/spoiler]

The ending was kind of meh and pretty predictable, but a decent end to the movie.

Overall: 8.5.

I didnt even know this movie was still in theaters. I loved the movie, and I love Will's acting. The sense of being alone really got to me like no other movie. I teared up when he had to kill Sam, and Ive never teared up in a movie.sarmini

If you want to watch a movie that will really give you a sense of being alone, watch Tony Takitani.

I thought it was average at best. It was great when he was by himself in the city, but when those cheesy looking monsters showed up it was totally ruined. It was further ruined by the arrival of the 2 survivors and the crappy hollywood ending.Film-Guy

I Am Legend works best with it's ideas, rather than it's execution, for example, as I felt a bit intense for the concept of it all, the last man on earth, and Will Smith does a good job of portraying that role, but it comes with many odd choices He makes throughout the film, such as not making a panic room when all those mutants come in and cause a ruckus, and a backup power supply if the lights turned off. Also the story is way too contextual for it's own sake, I mean, do we really need to know how his wife and son died and show it onscreen, he could just say they died and move on. Compared to an underrated story on Gears of War (I do hate the editting though) it's doesnt throw every detail, as it sends you into a nightmarish war that feels more realistic for it's situation, but it doesn't turn to the History channel for every 10 minutes and go on. I do still feel chills of the ideas, that do mask on how it performs. But even if one actor can hold the movie throughout, it feels best to focus on his situation than on his past. Go see the superior Omega man, which is what I am Legend was remade from, and you can rent on DVD now (or blu ray or HD DVD if you have a player)

I would suggest The last man on earth with vincent price instead of The Omega man, not saying omega man is bad, but it can get a bit cheesy. And it doesnt have Vincent Price:P

The monsters looked silly and fake, like a mix between gollum and those creatures from the mummie.
