I like college because...

I am in my dorm, and right outside my window is a volleyball pit and there's usually hot chicks there but I am just sitting in my dorm room because I don't know anyone and a lot of the guys look like douche bags...

Go out and meet people. And don't stereotype people in college. They probably aren't douche bags.

Well first, get to know people, don't just base them off what you see. Then, ask one of the girls out you've been 'observing' for quite a while now.

Dorms are good for freshman year, but after that its better to get an apartment ;p

If you see someone playing volleyball, I'm sure they wouldn't mind letting you join. Talk to your neighbors. talk to the Resident Assistant or Learning Assistants if you have any.

Also don't judge on looks alone. A lot of those "douche bags" are nice guys who just dress like a bro. This isn't high school anymore.

Also please don't become one of those kids who sits in their dorm all day and just judge and hate everybody for whatever reasons. Get out there and ask to play. 99% of the time you'll be welcomed if they need another player.

I lived in the dorms for 4 years. I'm about to start my 5th (and final) year of school and I finally got an apartment. I woudl have gotten one two years ago if I didn't change schools and have some other things come up.

Dorms are fine, but I can't wait to be alone. I have an apartment to myself here at the city I have an internship for and I love being alone. I can do what I want, when I want it.

i'm leaving in three days for my second year, college does change you i gotta say, when your own your own you learn alot about yourself
