Living in Dallas till 1995 and then in nebraska from '95 till 2000 I became a die hard fan of both the Cowboys and the Huskers. My mom is a UNC alum and I am soon to be one as well so naturally I'm a Tar heels fan when it comes to basketball.
Despite having played soccer my whole life, until world cup 2006 I had never watched soccer on tv, mainly because it's almost never on tv here in the states. By the knockout stage I was hooked and ever since have been watching MLS and champions league whenever they are on. When it comes to the USMNT I'm a desperately hopeful fanatic watching every game they play no matter how meaningless. While I try to support our domestic league in the MLS, the play in EPL, la liga, etc, just puts it to shame.
So here's your chance to win me over as a fan of your club lol. My only stipulations? well I'd like to follow a team I can watch on tv and that actually has a chance of doing something in the champions league, and I hate liverpool and chelsea so forget them. Other than that just tell me who and why.
My team is Chivas partially because I'm from there. I also grew up watching the FMF, A few years back I started watching European and hoenstly la Liga is just some of the best soccer you'll ever see. Barcelona vs Real Madrid usually put up awesome matches. All the teams are actually really good.
