Me and a couple of friends are going to a haunted walkthrough/hayride this Friday night and want to watch a scary movie when we get home. Any suggestions on a scary movie? Something that doesn't rely on blood and gore to be scary, but actual scares.

the spanish version of Quarantine [REC] is pretty good :D you can almost feel like youre trapped with the guys too8-Bitternessthe last twenty minutes are very intense, i highly (?) reccomend this movie
I am a bit ofA horror movie fiend and I have seen countless of them.
The scariest horror film I have ever seen is the original Thai version of "Shutter". (Dear GOD do not get the American version). You should be able to find a copy somewhere (its a 2004 movie and it is frikken excellent).
sry, i don't know which of those 2 versions is the first oneREC is brilliant.
Why do people keep calling it the Spanish version? I know its in Spanish, but its the original version as well.

Yeah, I know that. It just sounds like people are refering to it as the 2nd version.
Saying its the Spanish version is like saying a circle is round. Its just too obvious.

This! Also the original Halloween by John Carpenter, lot's of suspense but not that much blood/gore. Also check out The Exorcist, Those are probably the best if you don't want much blood and gore. I'd also recommend Nosferatu if you have the patience for a silent film from 1922, definitely an awesome movie.
