I need a new cell phone... need some advice!

I currently have a 3 year old black berry.. hate it. My contract with AT&T is up... however, my wife is on my plan and he has a year left; so I'm probably stuck with AT&T. I really like the Windows Phone 7.. but all those phones are 6 months old... I haven't heard of any new phones coming for it.. I also am liking the Samsung Galaxy S 2... but no release date yet. I'm pretty much just asking what is a good smartphone to get because my dropped and broke into a hundred pieces... need some advice on a good phone!

Well, what do you value most about your phone?

I value nothing on my current phone. It sucks. No internet, keyboard sucks, screen is terrible.. anything would be better. What I want most is internet surfing and Netflix/Hulu+ be available on it.

the HTC Sensation should be released soon, it is a fantastic smartphone ive seen the reviews for it, research some videos. www.engadget.com has great reviews on all good smartpphones. Really all of the HTC range is good, the features they have are great and they are instant responding touch screens. They run one of the latest Android OS and trust me are really great. Im hoping to get it when it comes out, so give it a look (:

nokia n8 is the bomb....great screen, clear and loud sound. easy to use if you used symbian before and great camera ofc; photos and videos

Never ever even think about buying an Omnia II... I hate it.. My suggestion Galaxy or similar..

I want the Samsung Galaxy S 2.. but I'm not gonna order it from another country.. Also, I want to sign a new contract and get it for like $200.

In my humble opinion, the worst thing someone can do is to buy a brand new item, specially when it comes to technology. I never get the latest technology, because I'm dam sure it will be overpriced for little improvement over the past generation or so.GazaAli

With phones though you're stuck in a 2 year contract. Always buy the best phone you can. The price difference will be minimal over the 2 years because all smartphones on a carrier take the same plans. Also, the current crop of high end phones are dual cores compared to the last gen single cores. They provide a sizable improvement in performance.

If you want something now get a Motorola Atrix 4G.

I have a Samsung Captivate (Galaxy 1) and love it. Definitely recommend it or wait for the Galaxy S2.

Far better than the iPhone 3GS I chose before it. Absolutely hated everything about that phone, especially its poor battery life and screen was hard to see outside. None of those problems apply to my Captivate. Plus its media players are way better (and sound better too.)

Get the iPhone 4 or switch to Verizon and get a Droid 2. Once you have one of these you will NEVER go back.
