Really depends if you have a fender, gibson ect they all restring slightly different, fender you put in from the back and gibson from the bridge area, and jackson V's are well harder.

Are you sure you didn't snap it beause then you'll need a new one What you should do is take it to a guitar shop and pay them to resting it for you (it costs about a buck) and watch carefully and ask questions

Yeah I did snap it, and I bought new strings. I do not have a music shop around here I got it online.

Here are the strings: http://www.guitarcenter.com/shop/product/buy_daddario_ej15_phosphor_bronze_extra_light_acoustic_strings?full_sku=100181%2e170

By the way I have an acoustic Fender (steel string)

honestly they're a pain in the neck to restring if you dont know how. get it restrung at a shop or by a friend and just watch closely because it can be pretty damn tricky the first few times

1. take out the peg that is holding down the snapped string 2. take out the snapped string, may require "un-tuning it" to loosen it so it comes out 3. place the end of the new string with the little circle into the hole 4. place the peg back in, anchoring the string down 5. run the string up the other end of the guitar and through the little hole at the head of the guitar 6. wrap it around a few times 7. now tighten the string (by tuning up, making sure it is coiling around nicely) until you get a rough sound from the string 8. tune it correctly (the exact note) 9. youre done, there is no 9
