I owned a crappy used fender for like a month. I learned a lot and i really liked guitar so now i want something that stays in tune for more than 5 minutes and is durable. I only have 250 dollars for a guitar and 50 for a pedal. In the one month period when i had a fender i learned some metal and some rock. (the only whole song i learned was down with the sickness).

Here are some of the guitars im thinking of buying.

Epiphone g310

Dean mlx

ibanez rg120

any other recommendations would be great. Im still a beginner. But i learned a lot real fast.

thanks in advance

Id go with the Dean probably, but you really dont need a pedal if your still a beginner. Id say get a guitar for $300. What type of music are you looking to play?

Schecter makes amazing guitars. I think they have a couple in your price range... if not, then get an Ibanez. And make sure you try it before you buy it...

dont buy a guitar online unless you know what it might sound like, try going to some local guitar shops and trying out some ibanez and epiphones, and with a guitar it really matters on what type of music you might be interested in playing, do you know what type of music you might want to be playing?

It really really depends on your tastes... Which you didn't elaborate on...

But, since I guess you're just interested in 'Rock' music... I'd say that you couldn't go wrong with really any Samick model.
