I've had a hard time sleeping this whole summer. First I was staying up till 1am and now I'm staying till 7am. Last night was the worst of the episodes. I twisted and turned the whole night until it was morning and stayed up till it was about noon. Then at about 1pm, i got real sleepy and went to bed. As sleepy as I was and tired, I just couldn't sleep. I did the toss and turn thing again. So i stayed up all the way until now and I feel real weird. I was wondering if anyone had some tips they use to help them sleep without resorting to pills. Also, do any of you have a sleeping problem like mine?

I often have difficulty falling asleep. Exercise works. What works really well though, like what will make sleep a goddamn panacea basically is just ditching everything in your sleep, and I mean slumber will solve any problem you can imagine if you do that.

Don't even worry about it, I don't want to take any sort of pills so I don't get addicted to them.

I don't have any sleeping problems..but if it helps, you could try controlled breathing. It's what I do when I am having trouble sleeping and it is very relaxing.

I have been having the same problem too. I think it has to do with my crappy bed and the fact that I sleep in the hotest part of the house. Not getting enough sleep sucks.

I mean get rid of everything you don't need and sleep rules. GO BACKPACKING, in other words.

Is it possible that i'm just a person who doesn't need to sleep alot? I have a freind who only gets about 3 to 4 hours of sleep and is up and at 'em. I mean, i'll stay up all night, then fall asleep at 8am or somwhere around there, and wake up at 1pm.

1) Get a job, a real job. I guarantee you'll want some sack time then.

2) Wreck yourself or have sex. Not trying to be inappropriate but seriously who doesn't fall asleep right away after doing that?
